Il Sorriso di Bright has finally finalised the purchase of a portable ultrasound scanner, an indispensable device for monitoring often-at-risk pregnancies, at the small dispensary in Ouidah.

It will be used by Paola Puglisi, who will take it with her on 15 June, the date of her return to Benin, where she has lived for about four years and from time to time travels to the various dispensaries in the country to bring assistance and health aid where there are more emergency situations.

Il Sorriso di Bright will be donating a portable mini dental unit, necessary for dental treatment of children.​

With the mini dental unit, children can have their decayed teeth treated without extractions, without disfiguring their smile permanently.

Il Sorriso di Bright has decided that Dr Guido Corradi, will take the portable mini dental unit with him on his annual childcare mission in August.

The mini-unit will be donated to the Infants' Orphanage directed by the Missionary Sisters of Notre Dames des Apots in Ouidah - Benin.
